You’re listening to Digital Drop, our monthly roundup of digital trends to keep you and your digital up to date.
First up, let’s talk artificial intelligence – Chat GPT, to be precise. Now, what seems to be causing quite a bit of controversy within the industry has crossed 1 million users in less than a week.
Chat GPT stands for ‘Chat Generative Pretrained Transformer’ and it’s developed by OpenAI. It’s an AI tool that can answer any question for you in a matter of seconds. It has the ability to not only understand, but respond with advanced writing on any topic
you can think of. Now, this can be for a wide range of applications, whether that be customer service or content creation.
Now let’s talk Google. The new update to Google Ads has been rolled out, making it easier to identify your business and distinguish Google Ads from organic results. How? By removing the ad label and adding in your business name and logo to the ad. Providing your business name and logo are on the ads landing page, They’ll be automatically added to your campaign and shown in the ads.
But don’t worry, you’ll be able to review and remove any information you don’t want to include. It’s a great way to build brand awareness and it allows your business to stand out from competitors in today’s ever evolving digital landscape.
Now we’re drawing things to a close, with the equally as important, but ever changing Twitter. Twitter has renamed its home and latest tweet feeds in a bid to push users to interact with recommended content.
The new ‘for you’ feed will allow users to see more recommended content. But, it’s safe to say the new algorithm needs some time to learn behaviour, as it somewhat lacks sophistication in comparison to its competitor – TikTok.
That is our roundup of digital updates – see you in the next one.
