New Year, time for a fresh new look

Happy New Year everyone, hopefully you’ve all had a lovely Christmas break, and now it’s time to get back to work and make 2016 really count!

It was back to work Monday morning for the Starbots team and it wasn’t long until the topic of new years resolutions came up… Now I’m sure you’ve all probably been asked about new years resolutions or seen the “new year new me” tweets and statuses popping up all over social media and let’s be honest we all know some resolutions are more likely than others… but it’s the thought that counts right?!

So while we were having a giggle over some of our suggestions in the team meeting, it got us round to thinking about how you can apply this idea of a fresh start and new goals to your business! And our answer? A new year, and a fresh new look (for your business that is).

The start of the new year can be a great opportunity to get creative, giving your business a new lease of life and create a buzz for 2016. Whether it’s a new website, logo, leaflets or even a whole new rebrand the starbots team are happy to help with it all!

And if you’re not convinced then just take a look at iconic brands, even they need bringing up to date to stay at the top of their game. One of the latest brand giants to step into a new style was Google!

Initially when they launched their new logo in September it appeared that not much had changed apart from the font. However when you looked at the bigger picture we began to see how they’d taken the new style of the logo and filtered it throughout the entire brand to create a whole new personality (take a look at the link below to watch how they’ve evolved and to have a look at their new branding!)

Google commented on the rebrand saying:
“We think we’ve taken the best of Google (simple, uncluttered, colourful, friendly), and recast it not just for the Google of today, but for the Google of the future.”

Whether your as big as Google, or just aspiring to be, it’s always important to be thinking about the future and how others view your company. We’re always brainstorming new marketing ideas and getting creative with our own branding (especially with our robots!) so we know just how important it is.
