Brand Development & Creative Campaigns

The Business Improvement District (BID) team came to us after hearing about our Starbots led ‘brand diagnostic’ workshops. During which we drove the entire BID team through an exploration of the BIDs current marketing activities and messaging. So that we could evaluate their ability to convey their aims and offering to local people, high street traders and local businesses.

After the workshop, the BID team decided that they needed the support of a professional marketing agency to create targeted campaigns that help them deliver on their objectives. A key objective for high street traders was increasing town centre footfall. While local businesses, who fund the BID through a business levy, needed to see that their BID levy is spent wisely and enhances the town and surrounding area. This improvement needs to be felt by local people and will be achieved by evidencing the BIDs involvement in local events and town centre enhancements.

Creative communications

Alongside the creation of a social media strategy and supporting assets, we are actively working on a series of campaigns on behalf of the BID to creatively communicate the value and offering of the BID to their three key audiences.

Impact

We are thrilled that in 2018 footfall in Newcastle-under-Lyme increased by 29.6% against declining statistics nationally.
