Background

Christ the King Catholic Collegiate (CtKCC) is a family of six Catholic schools working together as one multi academy to offer wider educational opportunities for children, young people and staff. The academy aims to share knowledge, expertise and resources, to strengthen and nurture the Catholic lives of its schools.

The aim

Following operational changes, CtKCC needed to evolve its brand and deploy a new identity that works across all marketing assets. It was key that the new brand clearly defined the role of CtKCC so that stakeholders could support the delivery of the strategic vision and mission as one.

Creating the visual identity

As the overarching brand of one multi academy, it was important that the new CtKCC identity aligned with the existing branding of the six Catholic schools. By understanding the organisation, challenges and ambitions, we developed a brand that united all of the schools, reflected the ethos of ‘Love, Faith and Service to others’, and supported the academy’s core operational changes. Versatile in design, the brand is recognised and used easily across digital and print materials.

Developing the website

Using the new visual identity, we created a website with a modern, frictionless design. It streamlines the user experience as well as showcasing the mission and ethos of CtKCC, its schools and its people. The easy navigation allows users to find and digest information quickly, whilst the design reflects the strong sense of community between all of the CtKCC schools.

Driving pupil recruitment

Since completing the project, we’ve been appointed by one of the schools within Christ the King Catholic Collegiate – St. Teresa’s Catholic Primary School. The nursery needed to fill spaces, and fast. So, we created a strategy to raise awareness and attract prospective parents, from redefining the school’s identity to creating a visually compelling narrative. And the recruitment campaign’s success was evident – filling all 45 nursery places.
